Southern Pine sponsors couple to Alabama Co-op Couples Confe...

Recently, Southern Pine Electric Cooperative sponsored members Doug and Tammy Kaiser of Atmore, Ala., to the 2006 Alabama Co-op Couples Conference in Orange Beach, Ala. The Kaisers were among 26 young couples attending this 31st annual conference at the Hilton Beachfront Garden Inn in Orange Beach, Ala. The Kaisers received the honor of being selected by their co-attendees as the host couple for the 2007 conference.

This three-day conference offered participants the opportunity to learn how their local cooperatives can assist them in their everyday life. In addition to Southern Pine Electric Co-op, other sponsors included Alabama Farmers Co-op, Dairy Farmers, Federal Land Bank, First South Farm Credit, Farmers Telecommunications Co-op and CoBank.
