Oat Cinnamon Rolls

Oat Cinnamon Rolls - July 2007 Alabama Living magazine

 

Ingredients

1 cup quick-cooking oats
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
2 tsp. ground cinnamon
2 cup dried raisins
1/3 cup butter or margarine, melted
1 lb. frozen bread dough, thawed
ΒΌ cup orange marmalade
Instructions

   In a bowl, combine oats, brown sugar and cinnamon. Stir in raisins and butter; set aside. On a lightly floured surface, roll the dough into a 12-inch by 10-inch rectangle. Sprinkle with oat mixture. Roll up, jelly roll style, starting with a long side; seal seam. Cut into 9 slices; palce in a greased 9-inch-square baking pan. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 30 minutes. Bake at 350 degrees or until golden brown. Remove to a wire rack. Brush with marmalade. Serve warm.
