Recipes are always one of the favorite sections of the Alabama Living magazine, whether they're in Southern Pine's own section or the regular recipe section of each issue. Another favorite in Southern Pine's service area for a number of years was the co-op's own Southern Traditions cookbook. All monies received from the sale of this cookbook were donated to the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life. Over the years, Southern Pine raised more than $19,000 from this cookbook to help in the fight against cancer.
